Why no tags?

Yesterday, we went to Abreeza Mall, Ayala's offering to the boring mall scene of Davao. The place by Davao's standards is huge and aesthetically good. There are also stores new to us, a few even international.

And we happen to stumble this shop called Saizen. They sell those eccentric and useful stuff from Japan. Every item costs Php 85.

And dad was asking why there were no price tags on the items. Good thing he didnt asked the sales lady.

It's been a long time

Since my last blog post that is. I've just been busy. My scheds really full. Have I mentioned that I started working already? As a nurse in the hospital. Oh hell yeah! As a reliever. And sometimes a reliever's schedule is not that friendly. At times i go on duty 6 straight days in a week.
And because of this so called work, I wasn't able to go with my family in their holy week vacation. As I've mentioned before, every year we really make sure that we go somewhere during this time of the year just to unwind and to destress. Coz that's the only time of the year when everyone is free. But now I guess everyone wouldn't be free anymore. Well there would be more trips and family affairs I would be missing. That's part of a nurse's life. Till next time. God speed.

Finally.

For some time, I really felt down. I lost drive and determination. It's like my life is heading nowhere. I don't know what to do. And it's as if nobody wanted me. I've risked on some things but to no avail.
And just a couple of days ago, it came to my knowledge that few of my batchmates during training were hired and started working already. Some were offered further training in the ICU. I felt like a big loser. Tweeted "I've got a big L on my fohead". I even questioned God why. Why nobody would take me. Why I don't get a positive feedback. O yeah. Self esteem down the drain again.
And just yesterday, I received a call. SPH called and asked if I would want to work for them. Oh hell yeah. Nope, that's not what I answered to the caller. Yeeeeees ma'am. Hehe
I will surely grab this opportunity by the neck. And will surely do my best. God definitely hav plans for me. And it will all happen in perfect timing -- in God's time.
God speed.

Yup, this is a very late birthday post. Just recently got this pic from Tomas. Well, enough of the excuses. And yup, I am 24. Twenty four. Bentekwatro. Dalawamput apat. Kaksikymmentanelja. Gaaaaah!
Wasn't really planning anything special for that day. Just stay home in a sulk. But then a few hours before my birthday ends I realized that I was so lucky on my 23rd year of being alive. So I must go and celebrate it. I travelled. I worked. Got a business. Laughed. Cried. Loved. Hurt. So many blessings came in that year.
And so I texted Tomas and he treated me to some fancy Thai resto. Boooyah! (hope you can read this angkol Tomas.)
Yup, God was so generous to me last year. Thanks God. I'm ready for some more adventures this 2010. God speed y'all.

Shania and dad

Yesterday, the whole family watched American Idol. And with Paula Abdul out, they had country singer Shania Twain as guest judge.

And dad was wondering why Shania was alone.
And were like, "It's Twain dad, not TWIN".

I was able to complete the nine mornings of misa de gallo. Weeeeee! And I made a wish... Won't be telling you so it will come true. Hehe! But my wish is pretty general. Nothing specific this year.
Had a very nice Christmas. Celebrated it with family of course with my sister live via skype all the way from Dubai. Helped cooking also.
And a day after, we had our annual family reunion / Christmas party. Had alot of fun. Parlor games and gift giving and stuff. Though food and gifts are not that grand this year, still we had a blast. And after that my younger male cousins went out. I never imagined that I would have a great time with them.

Again, Merry Christmas. And a prosperous new year! Godspeed...

Just heard dawn mass. Hoping to complete the nine mornings which I successfully did last year. It's a great feeling that you've sacrificed even just a lil bit to honor and glorify God. Well, I never thought that I would be able to say that here in my blog. Hehe...
People say that when you are able to complete the nine mornings, you can make a wish and it will be granted. Well, the wish that I made last year hasn't been granted YET. And I still do have the same wish this year. Hoping that it will come true already.
Well, wish me luck. Godspeed! And Merry Christmas.

Because I am bored, I had my hair cut. I want something new and different. That's why I opted for a Mohawk. Hehe! It's really hard when boredom strikes. You'll never know what I'll do next. Lol
